Discovery Academy of Science – North Campus is now accepting applications for the 2026–27 school year, with classes beginning in August 2026.

DAS North is a tuition-free public charter school serving students in Grades K–6 for the 2026–27 opening school year, with plans to grow annually to serve Grades K–8. The North Campus brings the proven Discovery Academy of Science STEM+R model — Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Reading — to families in the Dunedin, Palm Harbor, Clearwater, and North Pinellas area.

Discovery Academy of Science has proudly served students since 2013 and is recognized for academic excellence, strong family partnerships, and a STEM-focused educational program. DAS is an A+ rated school and a Florida School of Excellence, and the North Campus will continue this established model with its own campus identity and community focus.

Because this is the opening year of Discovery Academy of Science – North Campus, only a limited number of seats will be available. Families are encouraged to apply early. Our current Pinellas campus receives strong application demand each year, and a lottery is used when applications exceed available seats. For DAS North, eligible students may be offered seats in accordance with charter school enrollment procedures and available capacity. If the number of applications exceeds the number of available seats, admission will be determined through the applicable random lottery process and charter school enrollment requirements.
